Talon, Chris, and Andrew did a great job--efficient, thorough, friendly, and flexible after the roofing company missed their own deadline. Thanks for the great work !
I had a fantastic experience with SolarCraft. They replaced the residential solar inverter at my home in Petaluma, and the entire process was smooth from start to finish.
Zach Schlabach, their Residential Service Manager, was especially great to work with. Communication was excellent. He was responsive, clear, and professional throughout the entire process. The pricing was fair and transparent, and I really appreciated working with an experienced local installer.
It’s great to find a local solar company that is reliable, fairly priced, and genuinely easy to work with. SolarCraft checked all the boxes. I would absolutely recommend Zach and the SolarCraft team to anyone in the North Bay looking for solar service or repairs.
Thank you so much for the thoughtful review! We’re thrilled to hear that Zach and our team made the process smooth and straightforward. We truly appreciate your trust in SolarCraft and your recommendation to your North Bay neighbors!
Very happy with Carlos, Colton and Dominic who came for a few days to install our back up batteries system, they were efficient and very knowledgeable.
Thanks so much for your kind words! We're so happy to hear Carlos, Colton, and Dominic provided such efficient, knowledgeable service. We appreciate your trust in SolarCraft and hope you enjoy the peace of mind your new backup battery system provides.
Jose, Carlos, Matt and Ricardo did a great job with the solar install and other teammates Ryan, Aaron and Dom installed the battery like pros who've done it a million times. I for sure 100% recommend this installer. Professional from day 1. Also the sales process was non-slimy which I appreciated. Great job folks.
Thank you for the fantastic review! We're so glad you had a great experience from the sales process through installation. We'll be sure to share your kind words with Jose, Carlos, Matt, Ricardo, Ryan, Aaron, and Dom—they'll really appreciate the recognition. Thanks for trusting us with your solar and battery project, and welcome to the family!
The Solarcraft team has been professional and responsive since we first engaged them to put solar and batteries on our home.
After installation, their follow up and care has been great, with periodic in person reviews of our system and its capabilities. We've dealt with several members of the team, and to a person each one has been great.
Thank you for the nice review! Providing ongoing support and helping customers maximize the value of their systems is a core part of what we do. We'll be sure to share your kind words with the entire team.
Other solar PV companies have sales staff that used to be wine merchants or car sales people. SolarCraft staff were all long term professionals. The lead up, delivery and follow through really showed.
Thank you for the kind words! We're proud to have a team of experienced solar professionals/employee-owners, who are committed to delivering exceptional service from start to finish. We appreciate your trust in SolarCraft - enjoy your energy independence!
Overall disappointing sales experience. Solar Craft was referred as a diamond contractor for Mitubishi heat pump systems and initially I was impressed by their attention to detail and quick responses. Over the course of ~6 weeks they made multiple site visits and we considered numerous configurations for a multi-zone system. We were not in a particular rush for installation, but at the outset I shared upcoming travel plans. When scheduling (both theirs & ours) pushed receipt of final details/pricing to a few days before our international departure, I asked if they could expedite a contract for signature before we left town. I was assured that there was no need, pricing would still be in effect upon our return. Imagine my surprise when 3 weeks later, I received an email from SolarCraft the very day we returned home letting us know that they were exiting the HVAC business to focus on their Solar/Battery customers and wouldn't be completing any heat pump projects that didn't already have a signed contract. While our experience up until that point had been excellent, I can't help feeling frustrated at what felt somehow like a bait-and-switch. It's hard to believe that as a small, locally-owned company, they didn't know 3 weeks in advance that they were going to exit an entire industry. Or that they wouldn't offer to extend their services for this project given the amount of time that they spent designing & pricing our system. The situation is especially frustrating as I had literally tried to sign a contract and was told there was no rush. While they have many very positive reviews and our initial experience was fantastic, I'd be very hesitant to use the company again based on the ultimate outcome.
Hi Cheri,
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience.
We appreciate your comments regarding our team's responsiveness, attention to detail, and the work that went into evaluating and designing your heat pump system. We are pleased to hear those aspects of your experience were positive.
We also understand your frustration regarding the timing of our decision to discontinue our HVAC division, and we apologize! This was a difficult business decision, and we recognize the disappointment it caused for customers who were actively exploring projects with us.
While we regret that we were unable to complete your project, we sincerely appreciate the opportunity to have worked with you and thank you for your candid feedback.
We wish you the very best with your home improvement projects.
I decided to install solar last spring and noticed SolarCraft was working at my neighbor's house. He recommended them highly, mentioning that his sales rep even helped him find a roofer before the solar install could start.
Taylor was my sales rep and he made a great first impression. He was knowledgeable as well as personable and walked me through the process to know what to expect. When the install was running late, all of a sudden I was on the schedule!!
The install went very well, and the guys on the job were efficient and considerate. PG&E was slammed with all the projects going through, and created their own delays, but the team at SolarCraft did their best to keep things on track.
Recently Taylor reached out to explain the summer settings and how to navigate the app etc. He also offered to be available going forward if necessary. This after-sales support is rare these days and I greatly appreciated it.
I'm glad I chose SolarCraft and hope you will consider them for your project as well.
Thank you so much for the thoughtful review! We’re so glad to hear Taylor and the entire team provided a smooth experience from start to finish. We know delays with PG&E can be frustrating, so we truly appreciate your patience and kind words about our communication and ongoing support. Enjoy your utility savings, and thank you again for choosing SolarCraft!
I'm not sure that I would recommend this company!
I believe your Word and Follow through is everything when own a business especially an employee owned business.
Contracts are meant to protect a business not the consumer.
And now we have a $52,000 broken down system
Websites like these are genius they are one of the last lines of defense for consumers
Next stop CSLB (California State Licensing Board)
Thank you for the great review! We’re glad our team was able to stay flexible and keep things moving despite the roofing delay. We really appreciate your trust in SolarCraft and hope you enjoy your new system!
