I got both my Solar panels and a heat pump from SolarCraft, and was extremely pleased with their competence, efficiency and friendliness. Great to business with them, and glad they use high quality products - gives me a lot of confidence that the maintenance will be minimal. And I appreciate that they're an employee-owned business.
I had a terrible experience with them. I used them for solar and a battery back up. The system is not working right and power surges cause everything to shut down completely and go off grid. They claim its my tesla charger but other things like the air con cause the power to surge and shut down. The first weekend my power went off and I had to call an emergency electrician in to fix the issue and they won't even cover that. They held a gun to my head to pay them everything or fail to get the tax credit. Now I am forced to fix this by myself on my own dime.I also had 3 project managers in my time with them. Would highly recommend you use someone else.
Their response is not accurate as I paid them for electric vehicle install and they installed the charger. See do not trust them!
Hi Barry, we understand how frustrating it is to experience power interruptions. Because you purchased the 90A fast-charge EV charger after SolarCraft completed your solar and battery system, we couldn’t preemptively advise how it would interact with your existing 100A electrical service. While we recognize that upgrading underground electrical service can be costly, moving to the current 200A standard is recommended and would resolve these limitations. We regret that this has been such a frustrating experience.
Used Solarcraft for a rooftop solar project with battery backup. The whole team was excellent. They assisted with all aspects of the process, including keeping my roofer on task, and were extremely responsive every time I had a question. Install was quick and painless and everything has been working great so far.

Such a great experience from start to finish. I work in the clean energy industry and am blown away by the quality of the team across the board. From quoting our system (thank you, Taylor!) to coordinating with our simultaneous roof install (thank you, Janell and Chiara!), through final installation and commissioning of the panels (thank you, Daniel and Miguel!) everything was seamless. Special shout out to Andrew and John, the battery system installers, for just beautiful work and their consideration during install. My wife and I both work from home and we were both able to take meetings all day during the install without issue these guys were so good. These guys are the best.
It feels great to be off-grid and resilient. Great equipment, even better service. I'm so glad we went with SolarCraft instead of a cheaper, but lower-quality and less service-oriented, installer.

Great experience. I had proposals from several of the big national names. I learned that they were really just marketing organizations that outsourced installation and everything else. Working with Rob Arnold at Solarcraft was a refreshing difference, He is local, has local installers, and they service me on an ongoing basis. I never felt pressured or like he was trying to sell me more than I needed. He answered all of my questions. I ended up with the perfect system for me. It generates enough electricity so that I get a check at the end of each year.
The installation was excellent. They were fast, courteous did a terrific job. I wanted a low profile system and I got it. I didn’t want see the panels. Rob worked with me to place the 31 panels to minimize the visual impact.
Rob even got a drone and took some amazing videos of my home that I have shared with my friends and family. I wish I could give him 6 stars.

We worked with Robert Arnold at SolarCraft. Robert spent significant time educating us on the costs and benefits of solar systems and batteries, and explained how the system works. He also steered us toward quality and safety, and addressed all of our concerns. And he did a great job estimating our electricity demands- the system size is perfect. I could not be more pleased with Robert’s service and the value he delivered us.
We have now had our SolarCraft installed system for more than 2 years, and we are very happy with its performance and associated economics. Our utility bills are very low, and we expect to get pay back on the system exactly in line as Robert estimated.

SolarCraft just completed a beautiful job on our roof, installing a 12-panel array that will sufficiently generate enough energy for our entire household, and then some. From start to finish, the process with SolarCraft was relatively easy to navigate, schedule, and complete. They were easy to work with, their sales guy Darren (who has since moved on to other things) was excellent and transparent. At times, communication & coordinating was a bit of a challenge (hence the lack of a 5th star), but overall, we are very happy with their quality of work, customer support throughout the entire process, and of course, value.

SolarCraft was very helpful in sizing the system. They had estimates on what future appliances would consume. I can't comment on the accuracy yet but at least they were able to model it where others wouldn't. They were also flexible in when we'd install the system. Installation went very smoothly although the communication and recommendation on the battery placement could've been better. Overall, I'm happy with the system and SolarCraft's service and I'd recommend them.

I was very happy with our experience with Solar Craft. Very professional capable crew the whole way. I live in Larkspur and wholeheartedly recommend them to install your solar system and battery. Taylor was great in the quoting system, then the guys like Talon and Lee in the electrical and battery install. Really complex work but they made it look easy. And even with a change last minute they pivoted and made us happy. Thanks again to all of you!
